Cancellation Policy

Last updated: July 7, 2026

1. Overview

At Lakeshore Clinic, we understand that schedules change. This Cancellation Policy outlines the guidelines for cancelling or rescheduling appointments for both in-clinic visits and telemedicine consultations.

2. Appointment Cancellation

If you need to cancel your appointment, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • 24+ Hours Notice: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will be accepted without any charge.
  • Less Than 24 Hours: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee.
  • No-Show: Failure to attend an appointment without prior notice will be considered a no-show and may result in a full consultation fee charge.

3. How to Cancel

You can cancel your appointment through any of the following methods:

  • Online: Log in to your patient portal and cancel directly from your appointments dashboard.
  • Phone: Call us at 1 204-642-6811 during business hours.
  • Email: Send a cancellation request to contact@thelakeshoreclinic.com.

4. Rescheduling

Rescheduling is always welcome. If you need to change your appointment time, we recommend doing so at least 24 hours in advance to ensure availability. You can reschedule through your patient portal or by contacting our team directly.

5. Telemedicine Consultations

The same cancellation policy applies to telemedicine consultations. If you are unable to attend a virtual appointment, please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows for telemedicine sessions may also incur fees.

6. Emergency Situations

We understand that emergencies happen. If you are unable to provide advance notice due to a medical emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. We will review your situation on a case-by-case basis and may waive cancellation fees at our discretion.

7. Cancellation Fees

Cancellation fees, if applicable, are as follows:

  • Standard Consultation: 50% of the consultation fee for late cancellations.
  • No-Show: 100% of the consultation fee.
  • Specialist Appointment: Fees may vary depending on the specialist. Please confirm at the time of booking.

8. Late Arrival

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, it may be considered a no-show, and you may need to reschedule. We strive to see all patients on time, and late arrivals can affect subsequent appointments.

9. Changes to This Policy

Lakeshore Clinic reserves the right to update or modify this Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
